AIRPORTS
I usually use www.sidestep.com to find the best airfare. You can search for multiple days and it has a lot of options.
It links you to the airline's website so you don't pay any booking fees for using it.
Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR; AKA Ryan Airfield)
BTR is about 10 minutes north of where I live. I'm happy to pick you up and drop you off at
your hotel if you need me to. They have several rental car companies at the airport if you want to rent a car.

New Orleans Louis Armstrong Airport (MSY)
MSY is about an hour and half south of Baton Rouge. I'm not making any promises about pickups
or drop offs from MSY. Tickets are usually a little cheaper at MSY than at BTR and if you're planning to rent a car
anyway, this might make sense. This is the only airport in the area with a direct flight from LAX. Here's

Lafayette Regional Airport (LFT)
LFT is about an hour west of Baton Rouge. It's a tiny airport, but sometimes it's cheaper than
BTR. I probably won't be able to pick you up from LFT, either, so plan on renting a car if you fly in there.

You're more or less on your own here. My recommendation is not to pay full price, though.
